Dance Nova Academy – Terms & Conditions
By booking classes with Dance Nova Academy, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Membership & Fees
* Class fees are calculated over the course of the year and divided into 12 equal monthly payments for your convenience.
* Monthly fees are payable on the 1st of each month, including during school holidays where applicable (such as August), unless otherwise stated.
* Payments are collected by Direct Debit through ClassForKids.
* Any unpaid fees may result in your child’s place being suspended until the account is brought up to date. Dance Nova Academy reserves the right to recover any outstanding fees owed under these Terms & Conditions. Notice Period
* One full calendar month’s written notice is required to cancel your child’s place.
* Notice must be received before the 1st day of the final month you intend your child to attend.
* For example, if your child’s final month of classes will be September, written notice must be received before 1st September.
* If notice is received on or after the 1st of the month, it will take effect from the following month, meaning fees for the following month will still be payable.
* Notice must be submitted in writing by email.
* Monthly fees remain payable throughout the notice period.
Missed Classes
* Fees are non-refundable for missed classes due to illness, holidays or any other personal reasons.
* Where possible, an alternative class may be offered at the discretion of Dance Nova Academy, although this cannot be guaranteed. Class Changes
* Dance Nova Academy reserves the right to amend class times, teachers or venues where necessary.
* Parents will be given as much notice as possible of any changes.
Behaviour
* Students are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers, fellow dancers, venue staff and property.
* Disruptive, abusive or unsafe behaviour may result in a child being asked to leave a class. Continued behaviour issues may result in the termination of membership without refund.
Medical Information
* Parents/guardians must inform Dance Nova Academy of any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs that may affect their child’s participation.
* It is the parent’s responsibility to keep this information up to date.
Photography & Video
* Dance Nova Academy may take photographs or videos during classes, performances and events for promotional purposes, including use on social media, the website and printed marketing materials.
* If you do not wish your child to appear in photographs or videos, you must notify Dance Nova Academy in writing before your child’s first class.
Personal Belongings
* Dance Nova Academy cannot accept responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings brought to classes or events.
Liability
* Every reasonable care will be taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. However, dance is a physical activity and participation is at the parent’s/guardian’s own risk.
* Dance Nova Academy accepts no liability for injuries sustained during classes except where caused by proven negligence.
Agreement By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
